My name is Dominic Moore, and welcome to my website. I am a Humanist Association of Ireland (HAI) Celebrant and a HSE Registered Solemniser.
I travel all over Ireland to work with people just like you, creating unique ceremonies that celebrate the most important milestones in their lives.

Namings and Stepping Stones
Let’s celebrate your new arrival by creating a unique Naming Ceremony. We will meet, talk through and plan the perfect day for your new baby. I also write and conduct Age of Reason and Coming of Age ceremonies for young people.

I will meet with you and together we will construct, draft and perfect your script. Then we will rehearse and plan ahead so that your Wedding Ceremony, conducted by me, will flow perfectly and seamlessly on your big day.

Funerals and Services
I live in the centre of Cork city and close to all the funeral directors’ main offices, which means I can immediately meet you there or in your home and begin drafting the ceremony that will celebrate your loved one’s life.

About Me
My name is Dominic Moore and being a Humanist Celebrant is a perfect outward expression of how I have come to feel about myself as a person.
When I joined the Humanist community in 2016, I felt that I had finally met ‘my tribe’.
I saw a place where I could combine my love of Humanism – a secular and rational way of looking at the world we live in – with my acting career, and create a connection with people that religious ceremonies, such as church weddings and church funerals, were not fulfilling. That’s why I trained to become a Humanist Celebrant.
I enjoy sharing good experiences with good people: being a Celebrant is a beautiful way of continuing this collaboration. A Humanist ceremony must be a ‘successful production’ – yet wholly authentic – while fulfilling those elements that make the ceremony unique: secular, collaborative and flexible while tailored, and following a specific and well-planned order of events. Your ceremony will be unique, personal and suited to your needs.

For my Wedding, Vow Renewal and Naming ceremonies, I offer a free consultation where I like to meet my clients to see if we are suitable for each other. To book a consultation, either email me at hello@dominicmoorecelebrant.com or fill out the contact form. We’ll arrange a time to meet in my office, a cafe in the city, or on Zoom if preferable.
